[pct-l] Food Dehydrators

My wife is busy dehydrating food as I write. She got an American Harvest
Snackmaster Dehydrator and likes it. The temperature can be adjusted. She
recommends you get sold trays rather than the mesh trays. Anything liquid
drips through the mesh trays. She found this at Wal-mart several years ago.

Subject: [pct-l] Food Dehydrators

> Hello,
> I'm hiking the John Muir Trail this summer and I'm interested in
purchasing a food dehydrator to bring some of my own tasty foods! I wanted
to know if anybody here has experience with dehydrators and could tell me a
good make and model to purchase. Thanks!
