[pct-l] Forest Service PCT Maps Sample at Trail Fest

I didn't get a close-up look at them. David Hough took some pictures, which
are posted at http://dhs.oakapple.net/photo/other-pct/pcta/2004-04-03/
 
They appear to be shaded relief, but without topo contours. They appear to
be better than the standard USFS forest maps, in large part just because of
the larger scale, which is pretty close to the old 15-minute topos.

Does anyone know if these will be contour maps?  Most of the USFS maps I've
seen have no contours and very little in the way of benchmark info on them.
