[pct-l] The Allure of the PCT

The PCT is awe inspiring to children.  I work with 7th-12th grade Girl Scouts who love to backpack and hike.  We have introduced them to the PCT and now it is the only trail they hike or backpack on.  They all hope to one day complete the whole trail, although we do it on small weekend trips and we jump around to different segments.  Our goal this year is to hopefully run into some of the thru-hikers on the trail.  The girls would love to hear about their travels and maybe pick up some pointers.
