Seriously, it depends so much on the dog and if the owner is tuned to the
dog's needs. We have a saying with packgoats,
If the goat's not having fun, you're done."
My old border collie ran circles around the horses on 20 mile days, probably
did at least 30 or more miles.
My current BC wouldn't even be able to do that, nor would I ask him. (Or
myself.)
