[pct-l] Butane/propane availability?

Here are the places where I am pretty sure you can find cannisters:

Idyllwild
Big Bear Lake City (NOT Big Bear City, BBLC is next door via a bus)
Agua Dulce (ok, not in town, but big towns aroud)
Kennedy Meadows (?)
VVR
Tuolumne Meadows
South Lake Tahoe (?)
Ashland

I'm unsure of KM and SLT, but there are outfitters in ID, BBLC,
outside of AD. VVR had everything under the sun last summer.
Tuolumne was well stocked, but I don't explicitly remember.
South Lake Tahoe is big and I went into a pseudo outfitter
there. I wasn't looking, so I can't say for sure if they have it.
Ashland has a good outfitters that should have something. Else,
you might have to hitch into Medford. So, the distance between
SLT and Ashland is tough, but doable. Ashland to Canada can be done in
a month, so you may be able to get by with 1 cannister if you don't cook a
whole lot. Else, you might have to hitch into Hood River from Casacde
Locks. Hood River is fairly large in comparison.
