[pct-l] RE: freeze dried butter or sour cream

You might want to look at the prices. Adventure Foods is $10 a cup and
http://www.beprepared.com/ is $25.00 for a #10 tin can....... The price
difference is noticeable between the two and consistent throughout the
site.

www.adventurefoods.com	also sells Butter powder, Sour cream powder,
Cream
cheese powder etc... Look in the bulk food section of the website for
those and more...

http://www.beprepared.com/ . They have a store here in Salt Lake and I
found them quite by accident. They have the best freeze dried stuff
(house brand) I've seen. They also have a good inventory of Mountain
House bulk meals...hard to find, in my experience. Prices are good too.
I think they have a 15% off, or some such, on MH #10 cans. Jerry

Hello Jerry,
I checked REI and Campmor, but have been unable to find freeze dried
butter or sour cream. Where did you get yours?

Cheers,

You might also consider boosting both the flavor and calories of your
meals with freeze dried butter or sour cream. Both of the come in at
over 200 calories per ounce and there is no oil mess. Jerry
