Sadly, but truly, I have to admit: I have used a nine pound pack for several
years. Back in my youthful days, weight was honest to god not an issue as
far as I could tell. I could carry just about anything on my back, and keep
up with the best of em. The culprit for such a heavy pack? None other than
the roughly nine pound Large Sized North Face Bad Lands from several years
ago. (She's a beast of a pack.) -mike
