I really love the Petzl Tikka headlamp.  My primary use is for reading
at night, and forays out of the tent at night to check on my llamas.
This headlamp is very light and runs 3 LED lamps on 3 AAA batteries.
The light is very steady (great for reading) and very gradually goes
dim.  It is a terrific light-up-the-tent light.  I never leave home
without it now, as it is also great for reading in the car after dark
(he's driving, I'm reading).
