>From what I see, there is no consensus on what tent, pack or bag to use, just 
like cars. We can all try to persuade someone to use what we use because we 
like what we use, but in the end everybody makes up their own mind. May peer 
pressure never rule in long distance hiking and individuality (variety) rule 
instead. Must drive the control freaks nuts when someone says "no thanks, I'll do 
it my way"
