Hi Peggy,
Sounds like you had a marvelous summer, I could identify with your
hitchhiking, I went out at Trail Pass Trail down to a campground and then
hitched to Lonepine by myself.

You talked about meeting the "Chaos Twins", I wonder if this could be the
two young fellows I gave my food to in Stehekin WA a week or so ago. They
looked to be about 18 years old, wore identical clothing and had slight
builds.. They were concerned about the fire on the PCT above Rainy Pass.
They were expecting a food pickup at Rainy Pass, but did not have enough
money to get on the shuttle for the bakery, nor did they have enough food to
get them to Rainy Pass.

So I was quite happy to unload my food.  I would like to know if these two
young guys managed to finish the trail, does anyone know?
