[pct-l] Re: Section Hikers Ho!



On the shuttle, I found a good trick.  Just leave your car keys hidden near
the car.  Leave a note on the trail for thru-hikers telling them where to
find your keys and offering them use of your car if they will park it some
convenient place where you can pick it up.

It's a good deal for everyone.

For instance, for Whitney Portal leave the note at Crab Tree Meadows and ask
whoever uses your car to leave it at the Ranger Station in Lone Pine.  Then,
from Piute Pass you only need to hitchhike 2 legs (Off the mountain and down
395) to get back to your car.
