 Hi JoAnn, from Scissors  go 13 miles west to the town of Julian. ( MY
favorite desert town) Go to the Bed and Breakfast) Nice clean rooms , great
owners and a good breakfast in the morning. Julians' claim to fame is their
pie apples. This area is high enough to have a small micro -climate that
allows growing pears and apples and has Fir tree. It is like an Island
surrounded by desert.
