[pct-l] Filter vs chemicals

Hi, I was just thinking that in the Sierras it might make more sense to carry
a filter Vs using chemicals because the distance between water stops is much
closer than in the desert section.  When using chemicals you have to wait
between 15-30 min for the treatment to be effective.  So if you are on the go
you would have to carry all that water while waiting to drink it.  Where if
you use a filter you can stop often and get a drink when you want.  Just pump
what you need and then walk to next water site.  Any comments?  Plus does
Aqua Mira kill Giarida?
