I used knock off ink for a Canon bubble jet printer with water resistant
Canon bubble jet paper which is printable on both sides, some of my maps got
wet, but the ink didn't run.  Of course, if you want to pay a $1 a sheet for
the waterproof variety that's up to you, but a clear gallon size ziplock will
protect a map from the elements.
