[pct-l] Tarp Shelters by Bill Gurwell



Hi Gary,

I built and used the Bilgey-2 tent on 1800 miles of the PCT in 2002,
several other weekend trips.
My wife and I used the tent, and were grateful for having it. Needed
the screening, loved the bathtub floor and huge awnings. It was my
first big sewing project, and remarkably, it came out ok. Cost about
$100 in materials, weighs 32 ounces, including guys and stakes, but not
poles. (We used our hiking poles).
