 In 1978 , a limb broke off the side of General Sherman ( Largest tree in the
world) The limb that broke off was larger than any living tree west of the
PCT in the U.S.. ( Over 6 ft. through and 140 ft. long)
     Gripe of the week::: Foot long cracks found in Milltown dam ( built in
1923) just 120 miles upstream from Missoula Mt.  Info was on Federal web
site, but removed Friday because of possible " National Security" they claim.
Citizen security must be second place?? ( Or right to know??)
     PCTA annual meeting this Feb.1st. in Seattle!! Starts at 8:00am and
banquet at 7:00p.m. with quest speaker Jim Whitaker. Call 916-349-2109.
