[pct-l] worries about not worrying

Hi Teatree,

My recent hiking resume looks kind of like yours - right down to the
Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway which I did this past summer in a swealtering
heat wave. I'm also planning a 2003 PCT thruhike.

I'm going to be away "down under" from January through March and have just
a few weeks this month and a couple of weeks in April to plan the hike.

I'll be making use of the same resources you've mentioned in addition to
Weathercarrot's write-up on self-resupply along the way. Since I'm not
planning on doing many maildrops from my home support, I'm mostly going to
try to figure out when I'll be where along the way for the few maildrops
I'll be expecting and also so that friends and family will know about where
to fidn me and when.

Other than that, there seems to be a lot less to do to prep for this trip
than for the AT.
