[pct-l] Ice axe, lightweight

The Cassin Dragonfly ice axe is on sale at various places. Probably a
closeout. Can anyone compare this to other lightweight ice axes as to
which may be best for spring backpacking in the Sierra?

For example,

Cassin Ghost
Pro: Weight (9 oz). Flat-topped head (more comfortable to hold).
Con: Spike is just formed by cutting off the shaft at an angle, thus snow can
pack into the hollow handle when used as a cane.

Cassin Dragonfly:
Pro: A real spike. On sale ($50). Length choices (60, 65, 70, 75 cm)
may be a better than the Ghost (50, 60, 70 cm).
Con: Heavier (11-12 oz). Head has a bump in the casting (to create more
strength at the carabiner hole).

TIA,

Scott
