Just posting this as there's been requests for thru-hiker 2002 journals.  I've
been reading some from this year and years past and have been corresponding
with some who are on the trail now (Spur and Ready are doing well and I look
forward to meeting them and others again on yet another trail).

Ok, I am only sending this as several posts from the last digest asked for
thru-hiker web pages.  I've been following a few on the usual sites, even
getting e-mail from folks (Spur & Ready today -they're doing well).

My web site is up and running.  I start my 80 day hike in a week, so there
will be a gear list and journal entries posted there on an almost weekly basis
(I get to a PO, mail my letters to my designer, she puts them up), please
visit, and let me know of any useful links to add or graphics etc.  Pics will
be added along with the journals and there are already pages set-up to
facilitate as well as some biographical info and a "where is he now" page.
