I can vouch for John's book & e-zine - tremendously informative; obviates
the need to re-invent the wheel (or the foot...).  I have one word for
blister prevention & foot care: LUBRICATION (of the feet, silly) - with
vaseline, a high-tech lubricant such as those John advocates, or any other
material that allows your foot tissue to heal and combats friction.

An earlier writer advocated Freeman's foot lotions, available at some
grocery stores (with the other lotions/bath products).

Christine (who was incapacitated by blisters at Barrel Springs, and again in
Big Bear - only to find that vaseline was a miracle cure.)
