[pct-l] Vermilion Valley needs your help

I see everyone is getting ready to start their trek!! Just wanted
everyone to know we will be taking re-supply boxes, reservations, all
hikers and everything in between  again this year. I have a dilemma with
the bear cannisters. We are going with the Garcia 812-c. Since I have
never had to rent these things on a regular basis I would like the
hikers input on how they prefer things to go, whats fair, whats not,
deposits on the cannisters..... How do the other resorts rent these
things and do you agree with their policies. Also, how are you keeping
them attached to your packs? I have options that I am looking at but I
would really like the preferred way to go since I am almost required to
have these things from the USFS. The snow pack in our area is about what
is was last year, 70% of normal. It's melting fast. We should be in by
the middle of May. Hope everyone has a great trip and God's speed.
