[pct-l] snow water content



Assume that high water content mean that the snow is
more compressed - i.e closer to ice. 
Since it's still frozen that would mean it takes more
energy to melt one inch og high water content snow
(ice) than one inch of low water content snow
(powder). 
But using water content in stead of inches of snow
kind of avoids the problem by telling you how much
water the meldted snow will result in in stead of how
thick the snow cover is?
Did that sound right?
