[pct-l] Rodent-proofing

Try a 2 or 3 gallon paint can (available
new at paint stores) or one of those big 
cans popcorn is sold in. With Xmas coming 
up shortly maybe someone in your neighborhood 
will have one to get rid of (after you help
them empty it).

Jeffery Shaffer (of Yosemite Guide Book
fame) described a "rodent-proof stuffsack"
in which a generous dousing of bug repellent
was supposed to deter the the critters.

Sounded too messy to try.
