My hubby, the model ship "shooter", says auto shops are a good source for
ball bearings.  Ask for the left over's from bearing repair.  Might take a
while and you'll have to clean them, but the price is right.  Otherwise
sporting goods stores where you purchase the wrist rockets.If you know a
pond where the model ships play war and have a magnet and a small boat you
can get lots from the bottom of the pond.  scuba gear might work too.:-))
