[pct-l] Eagle Creek Trail

This is my first Backpack trip each year!! Great to get a non-hiker hooked.
This should not not be any trouble for your mom Terri. Mile for mile some of
the best scenery along the trail plus one of the first to be snow free this
far North. Please try to hike it on 2 week days and not the week end! Be sure
to stop at the Multinoma Falls ( a few miles west on highway 84) for your 3
dollar parking permit and a great pre-hike omlette at the lodge. Hike past
tunnel falls at 6.5 miles up trail and continue to the Tanner Creek Trail
Junction at about 8 miles into the hike. Hang a right and go about 1.5 miles
on the little used trail to a great and little used site right along the
creek. ( Lots of firewood for flood 4 years ago with tons of twisted cedar)
Great for making fire in early april hike. Take a rookie hiking and bring
marshmellows for smores with junior mints which are put in marshmellow before
toasting. Then put between two gramcrackers and use Reeses peanutbutter cups
instead of hersey bars. Terri, Your mom will be in heaven.
