[pct-l] Raw Foods

I wasn't going to get into this subject as any food is just fine with me.
David Green, who wrote a book after his 77 trip up the PCT, grew bean sprouts
in his pack as he hiked. He carried a one gallon glass jar with a cheese
cloth lid and rubber bans holding it on. Bean sprouts were kept moist at all
times. Green did yoga nude along trail at lunch breaks and was reported to
have been a Shailen Priest. "TIC"( ALA Kung-Fu) Jardine's organic backpack
green house will undoubtedly be somewhat lighter. ( Instead of carrying a one
gallon glass jug, you could just duct tape maybe 30 small ziplock baggies
with the sprouts and water to clothing and outside of pack) "TIC" Raw food
has always had durability problems on long trails. ( Much better to dehydrate
things like fruit, veggies) Green should make the record book for packing a
Gallon Glass Jar to Canada though. Pretty sure that feat won't be repeated
soon!! Caution""""" Some statements in above post contain of TIC clause.(
which is Tongue in Cheek) Information in said clause maybe deemed incorrect
and is posted only as entertainment and should not be used in conjunction
with planning a proposed Pacific Crest Trail Hike. Further more, any raise of
gas prices and or natural gas prices is a direct result of list members Greg
Hummel. Tom Reynolds and "IronMan" Brick as their part of the larger energy
conspiracy. They will be invited for the special " Chilli Feed" at George
W.'s ranch next month for their part .
