Aid station do not exclude the absence of a vehicle. First aid supplies,
water, electrolytics, and so on, are essential to a trail race and many
I have been on are backpacked in :-)

I don't want to start a flame war, and do not mean to be insulting here-
I just want to ask if can you ease up a little Brick,
some of your posts sound like you have all the facts, expecially the
quotas and now the cars at aid stations, which simply is not true.

Anyone having done a trail race over 30K will most likely see
several aid stations that are packed in :-) so stating that
it means cars is a disservice and I find it disrespectful. ((Which I
am sure you did *not mean* to be.

Ok- that is my 25 cents worth...now I shall get off my little soap
box- you just hit a hot button as I have been a packer of 70 lbs
of water and aid stuff for 10 miles! and yeah-- I kinda wished there
was a vehicle...but would not lobby for it as the trail is too precious
to violate that rule.
