[pct-l] PCT to Lone Pine

I have a friend that is meeting me in Lone Pine to hike the JMT.  (Making
story shorter)  We have a debate about how long it will take to hike from
the PCT to Whitney portal vs PCT to Horse Shoe Meadows.


Does anyone have the low down on these two options?
