Re: [pct-l] Internet



I'll try and jog my memory, but here are a few places to start and maybe
others can fill in. For the most part, internet access will be hard to find:

1. Agua Dulce--Donna and Jeff's hiker hostel in Agua Dulce. (You may want to
double check here, but as I recall they offered hikers to check e-mail on
their computer. This is not a public service I might add.)
2. Big Bear Fire Department--They had internet access. I didn't ask to use
it but they had a connection.
3. South Lake Tahoe Public Library: Costs $1-2 for 30 minutes
4. Ashland, OR. I didn't use it, but I'm almost certain of access at the
library. Perhaps someone else can confirm.

Those are ones I'm aware of. Perhaps if we all chipped in we could get Jack
Fair a strawberry imac so hikers could have access in the Mojave! :)
