Well I'm glad to see there is a response to this list.  Usually I just read my e-mail and that's it.  I actually want to see myself how many people are on this list.  I hope this list continues to be active.  If anyone still has the link to sign up on this listserve, could they send it to me?  If so, as being the maintainer for the links page on www.northcountrytrail.org, I can add it to the other links on the links page.  Thanks for your time.

One reason for low activity could be the lack of a direct sign-up link on the backcountry.net website.  Probably not very many people have actually taken the time and effort to figure out how to subscribe.  Just so we have an idea of how many people are really on this list, (I consider fifteen to twenty active members the minimum to keep a list interesting)  why doesn't everyone who receives this message make a post to this list and we can all see how many there are.
