Is everyone hiking (as they should be) or am I alone?

My name is Howard Lyons of Minot, ND
Trail name (A.T.) is Turtle.

I had to bag an AT thru-hike last week because of a back problem--that
makes me a section hiker now.

Living as close as I do to the IAT,  I want to consider finishing summer
with a hike there.

What advice?????
