Annie,
I think you'll find most of the active members of the FT-L list are Florida
Trail Assn. members, although it is not a requirement of the list.  The only
requirement of the list is an interest in hiking here in Florida.  But since
the FTA builds and maintains a large portion of the trails available for
hiking in the state, most of us who live in FL join, support and even help
maintain the Florida Trail.
