You can do 30 mile / 3 day loops at Myakka River State Park (but yes, you
have to get a permit for the campsites) or Citrus Trail in Withlacoochee
State Forest  (use only the northernmost loops), no permits required, FT map
available or check with the state forest office for their version of the
trail map.
