[ft-l] Permits

Prairie Lakes requires a camping permit - not available on site. There is a
drop-box for the user fee at the info kiosk down the road from the vehicle
entrance; our trail does not pass by it, however, so if you're through-hiking
you'll probably miss it.

Jim Pace can give you the skinny on Kissimmee River. Used to be the permit
forms were in the kiosks-- you filled one out when you went in. Jim told me
last winter that the AFB supervisor wanted to change that and require one via
mail through the base rec office, Jim should know if that happened or not.

Are these camping permits or trail access permits? Are they required in
advance or can you get them on-site?
