Enjoyed your wetlands report.  I was very surprised to know you spotted a bear.  I thought they were all Wekiva and north; what great luck for you.  

I finally saw my first Florida bear this winter; unfortunately, it was from a car which Jon says doesn't earn me as many points as it would have if I'd been on foot.  It was crossing the dirt road leading into Grassy Pond in the Ocala.
