Re: [ft-l] Looking for trail conditions update

I just checked with South Florida Water Management District (Okeechobee
Office)  and was told that the Hickory Hammock Hiking Trail is open tothe
public.  BUT there is no connection at the north end to the Florida
Trail.    
So for thru hikers it is necessary to go around, but day hikers can still
enjoy the beauty of the Hickory Hammock Trail.
