No, there are probably millions of people who don't know what Esbit Tablets
are.  :)They are getting really popular with thru-hikers and other long
distance hikers.  They claim to be non-toxic solid fuel tablets.  Like
Bveatch@aol.com said, they are expensive, which is the main reason you'll
see me with an alcohol stove most of the time.  If you like to cook and
simmer your meals, then don't even consider them.  On the other hand, if you
find yourself usually boiling water at night (possibly for pasta or those
freezed dried meals) then you should probably give them a try.
