[CDT-L] Update: Flight of the Spirit Eagle

Hi to all...

Got a newsy call from Jim and Ginny.... all is well .... they are
spend sometime at Mack Inn, Idaho.... seems the last 6 or 7 days
have all been bushwacking for hours on end each day... and they
were attempting to make 18 miles each day.... sounds like they
are pushing it again... but sound extremely content with what they
are doing...

It was hard to understand everything that Jim had to say... he was
really busy eating some crunchy snack on the phone while Ginny
went into the restaurant to order their lunches.... team work at its
best!

There was no room at the local motel so they ended up spending
the weekend at the local campsite... at least it has a shower....
seems it is near all the local vacation spots for fishing, river floating
and camping... near the north fork of the Snake River.... and
everything fills up on the weekend... they expect to sleep under a
real roof on Sunday night when the weekend crowd disappears...

Ginny's finger is doing just fine... Jim removed the stitches this
past week.... although not without a lot of problems... some were
ingrown and difficult to get out.  But they claim all is well.... No
more difficulties with Jim's legs either....

Jim thinks he is down about 20 pounds so far.... the only weight he
has gained is in hair.... but none on the top....

So they quit their jobs, go half way across the country, slog thru
snow that is waist high.... finally get to Mack's Inn, Idaho ... and
what do they do?............. they go to dinner theater to see "The
Robber Bridegroom."   They weren't sure what the story would be...
or who the actors were... or how fancy they had to dress... but they
did know that it was an "all you can eat buffet".......... Bet they
don't get invited back...

That's about what I can recall from the quicky phone talk.... just
wanted to pass on their best wishes to all............
