[cdt-l] CDT Maps
[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ]
You can buy the BLM maps at: http://www.publiclands.org/html/home.html. They also sell USFS maps.
You can buy some maps at the CDTS site: http://www.cdtsociety.org/marketplace.htm.
Excellent info on maps from Jim & Ginny Owen can be found from the CDT-l archives: http://www.backcountry.net/arch/cdt/01/msg00139.html.
As Jonathan Ley mentioned, info on his maps can be found at: http://www.phlumf.com/cdt/cdtmaps.htm.
You CAN'T just buy a few guidebooks and be done with it, as is the case with the PCT and AT. Hope this helps.

Just joined this list. Starting northbound on May 1st with 4 others.
Noticing that one can't just buy a few guidebooks for the CDT and be done
with it, as was the case for PCT. So i would love some info on where I can
get these coveted BLM maps that people are talking about. Didn't even know
that the BLM made maps. Their website doesn't mention anything about it.
