[cdt-l] Packing Pepper Spray

I carried a small "thing" of pepper spray, but never used it... It did
make me feel a lot safer & I think that in itself is important. I almost
used it on dogs a couple of times... and it was nice to have in my
pocket when hitching (I've never had a bad hitching experience, but I've
talked to people who have & it only takes one to really mess things up
for you!).

Anyway, I have more about what I did & other opinions on my site at:

Just as a point of interest, I was wondering how many people who have
hiked the trail (and are on this list) have actually
1. used pepper spray
2. were confronted by a griz but didn't have to use it
3. didn't use it at all.

I think it would be a fairly interesting stat.
