FYI  New Balance 801s, the shoes that everyone liked, have come back.  
They're $85.  The original gray and black ones are available from LL Bean.  
The new colors are available from Footlocker (mens in aluminum gray) and 
Lady Footlocker (womens in lavender).
I've heard that there was an admission that NB just didn't get it right with 
the 802s and 803s, and I agree; despite that, the normal progression 
continues with the 803s to be replaced by 804s in December - hooo hum.
