[CDT-L] [cdt list] GPS

They didn't have GPS's back in the stone age. We used 1:24,000 USGS maps. I 
think GPS's are mostly toys on trails (on marked, blazed trails), but I would 
DEFINITELY take on on the CDT if I were to do it again. But I don't think 
it's a subtitute for solid map and compass skills.
