[at-l] Mount Washington Area, NH
Help!
I need
information on various things in the Mount Washington area of New
Hampshire. I have a long list of ski resorts and restaurants and shopping
centers, etc. but no qualitative info. Can anybody tell me more about these
things than what is normally published on the web?
I am taking a
family of four there after Christmas for a few days. The children are two boys,
ages 6 and 9. They both want to learn to snowboard. I haven't been on a board
since 1979/80 and have never skied in my life, nor has my
wife.
We would like
to go skiing/boarding on the 27th and could use a recommendation on a good
school. Also need to purchase or rent clothing, since I am the only hiker here,
no one else owns ANY cold weather gear at all!
