For anyone who lives in/near NH, Tuesday night a group of us are walking to
the top of Blue Job Mtn. in Rochester, NH at around 11 pm to observe the
lunar perigee/solstice/full moon (i.e., big, bright moon that only happens
every 133 years)) that was posted about last week on this list. Blue Job
is in southern, NH, (about 1 1/4 hrs north Boston, 1 hour south of Mt.
Washington, 1 hour west Portland) and is a small mtn. with a rocky bald
top perfect for Moon Viewing. There's a pretty good view of Mt. Washington
from the top, and hopefully, the big bright moon will be reflected from the
snow & ice on top of Washington for a beautiful scene.
Anybody who's interested in joining us, email me privately --
