-- Spending five days on the AT with my sons/sons-in-law (6 young and spry
guys plus me balancing the cosmic scales on the other end - at least they
were tolerant of creaking bones and slow speed of advance) including our
group photo standing together on the C&GSS marker on the rock on Mt Rogers

> lowlights
-- Spending five consecutive days on the AT with the above mentioned guys IN
THE RAIN, w/o ceasing.

-- Another five days, same group, different section, better weather.

-- I really enjoy the collective laid back attitude which, somehow, manages
to impart good information mixed in with all the chest beating. Even the
squabbles are fun from the outside looking in.

> lowlights
-- The ocassional humorless reactions/responses and the (infrequent) taking
of umbrage when somebody sincerely takes a heartfelt but unpopular public
position, metaphorically speaking of course.

Or are you asking what direction we would like to see this list going in
next year?? If it is the first option, my wish is, as always for one and
all, a satisfactory and spiritually fulfilling year to come. If your
question is the 2nd option, I would like to see just a little more good gear
talk.
