1) Highlights and lowlights of hiking in 1999?

Highlights: The dayhike down Jackass Canyon (a side canyon of Marble Canyon 
area of Grand Canyon).
Aprilmoon and I feeding wild ponies in the Grayson Highlands; the big black 
snake we saw; Norm Miller's ride to and from the Laurel Cafe for 
cheeseburgers in the middle of the day; a great bath on a sunny rock with 
yogi'ed Camp Suds.

Lowlights: Breaking my shoulder and cutting short this year's section hike

2) Hiking goals for 2000?

Alas, too few. Three weeks of AT section hiking with Aprilmoon and increased 
canyoneering with my life partner, Mike.

3) Highlights and lowlights of the at-l in '99?

Highlights: That it flourishes and seemed to increase in membership.

Lowlights: A preponderance of postings from the same 6-10 people.

4) Wish to the list in 2000?

Health; more time to be in the outdoors; more voices to be heard on the list.
