[at-l] Handy Thru-hike Calculator

Hi:

I'm in the process of planning a thru-hike for this coming spring (and this
email is a backhanded way of letting that slip out to even more people...)
and as part of the fun I've decided to put some tools together for my own
use (and anyone else who might be doing the same, or just interested in
wasting time at work ;)

The following link is for an applet that figures out estimated completion
days based on days off, miles per day, start date, etc. Adjusting any of
those impacts your finish date. Adjust the finish date and it will show you
what the mileage goes up to. You'll need to have Java enabled on your
browser to see it.

All of the code is on the page btw - for anyone else interested in that sort
of thing. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

I've been thinking about do some more of these to reduce the repetitiveness
of doing worksheets. I've never liked worksheets.

Enjoy,
	Tom Janofsky
