As one of the hiking books pointed out several years ago, on the top of
every big mountain with a view, there's a parking lot.  I offer as
examples: Beauty Spot, Big Bald, Roan Mt., Clingman's Dome, Mt. Washington,
etc.  Yet, we hike on up, hoping for a good yogi chance at the top. :^)
