Re: Re[2]: [at-l] Hike the Approach Trail! was New to list- a fe

First off, as a section hiker, I start off slowly. I wouldn't have made it
all the way up the approach trail in one day. Are there places to camp?

Second, a story about Stechoah. The Philosopher used to tell us to gut it
out there, but Wingfoot doesn't mention it. When I was there at the Gap, we
had been privy to our first bit of yogi-ing, or maybe it was a bit of trail
magic. Anyway, we were in high spirits crossing the road. Things were
fine, and we even had just a tidbit of trail relo, when I came up behind my
partner who was blocking the trail looking up. She stepped aside, and I
looked straight up the mountain (from Sweetwater Gap?). "SHIT!!!!!" She
looked sweetly at me and said, "I saved that for you to say." It took us
3.5 hours to get up that stretch. Since then, I think they've done a lot of
relo to make it much better.
