RE: [at-l] Trail Expansion

Al, with all due respect. I doubt AT would be missing out. After all it
currently has had more funding than all other long trails combined. I
personally would like to see a little funding diverted to support some of
the other trails. To help provide the protection from encroachment that they
need. After all there is very little that can be done in the Eastern
environment to provide a true wilderness experience. It would be a major
shame to loose it on the other trails as well.

Perhaps if the AT gets a little short of funding, it could pour a few less
dollars into building massive shelters. If there's any argument for removing
them, these last few days of dialog sure re-enforces the point.
